I have no regrets purchasing this product. It works great for what it is specifically designed for- lap swimming. It is small, clips secure to your goggles, arm band (if using different earbuds than provided), and I would imagine it would even stay put on a cap...but havn't needed to try. The battery life is sufficent and so forth. Overall, the player is great. My only dislike is the fact that there is no LCD display, so if you are one who listens to audio books or other MP3 files that have any length to them, it may be problematic (one would not be able to fastforward by sight). Because of this, I chose to limit my use of this player to music only. Which is fine...I seldom lap swim longer than 20 to 30 minutes anyway and have other players for extended workouts in the gym. Another quirk that makes this different is the USB charger/cable...it is a specific cable that is different than any other cables I have for MP3 players and I am not sure if it is easily replaced if lost, but for the price.....it is a great player. And if you want something to use in the water.....it is a good choice.
In regards to the earphones though, I had to purchase a separate pair than what was provided. I could not get the original to fit properly to keep water from "muffling" the sound. But I found new pair on Amazon.com that did work.. and the cost was minimalPyle PWPE10W Marine Sport Waterproof In-Ear Earbud Stereo Headphones for iPod/iPhone/MP3 Player (White)
But mind you, I would imagine that this may be unique to me....I have had to do this with other players I have purchased in the past.
So bottom line, if you are responsible and keep the USB cable in a place where you likely won't lose or damage, don't mind that there isn't a LCD display, and plan to use it primarliy in the water or other workout activities where you likely won't pause and look " at what is playing" anyway......it is a good choice.
The only reason why I did not give 5 stars are becasue of the above mentioned issues....no LCD screen and a unique USB cable....

I did not like this product at all. The cord for the headphones were too short so if you do not where goggles or a cap, it's hard to clip it to your suit. Also the volume is way too low. Out of water it has a low volume and in water it gets even lower. Definetly not a good buy. I guess you get what you pay for.

I have a problem with the headphones staying put. So in the middle of my laps I stop being able to hear the music and have to constantly adjust the headphones. I also wish i was able to increase the volume more then i am able to. The unit itself is great, the battery life seems to be great, ive been using it for 2 weeks and havent had to recharge it.
